I highly recommend adjusting the settings. Once out of the box it looked OK to us, but I searched online reviews that have calibrated this TV and set ours exactly as those reviews tell you to. BIG difference. I cannot stress that enough. I highly doubt the in store displays are using the out of the box settings.

It's recommended that you check your incoming signals and make sure they're coming in at 720 or 1080 resolutions. Often times, people forget to change the video output on the cable/satellite box, Blu-Ray player or game consoles. As a result, a lower resolution is sent to the TV and it doesn't look as good as it could. If that still doesn't resolve the issue, please reach out to a Best Buy Geek Squad Agent for further assistance and troubleshooting. --Mr. S

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.when I was researching at Best Buy, they confirmed their image was Networked 4K signal. They were relcutanct to switch to a local signal, but ensured me that when 4K becomes norm for most cinema that the images would improve. BBuy has a few DVDs in 4K, spend a few bucks and see the native 4K - you'll be glad you did. Or, search Schwarz 4K on YouTube - their imagery is awesome.
