I looked carefully at both tv s before making my decision on which to purchase. The OLED did have better blacks but across the whole spectrum of color and clarity of image I felt Samsung won hand down
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Oled TVs are known for their true blacks, but have their own issues as well(image retintion, don’t perform well in bright rooms, etc.) while the Qled doesn’t achieve the same level of blacks the Oleds do, it way out performs in color and picture brightness and still does a fantastic in terms of black levels, especially the Q9F. The picture quality and performance of this set is amazing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends what you value, much brighter than any OLED. Blacks not as deep but I would say the black shadow detail is better. Also the LED is much sharper than the OLED. Hard to beat Samsungs Tizen operating system vs LG's too. If OLED get brighter then this would give OLEDS the edge
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on what you like color saturation or true blacks. I personally liked the Samsung more. OLEDs have a lower life span than QLEDs. See both side to side and choose what you like more. Both are great TVs. I prefer color over true blacks, LG can’t reach the Samsung color with everything on max. Good luck.
