No app required. Just connect via Bluetooth and confirm on the TV. Works great (also with Windows 10).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know it has the Samsung device sharing app on it. You can definitely screen share between the TV and Samsung smart phones and tablets. Both the TV and smart phone and/or tablet need to be on the same WiFi network to screen share. I'm not sure if it can screen share with non Samsung device. Possibly it can with android devices if you download the Samsung screen share app but I can't say for sure. I hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Samsung Note 3 and it comes with the necessary software. If you are familiar with samsung phones there is a screen mirroring option on the settings pull down menu. I believe it sets up a Bluetooth peer to peer network connection. I think this only works with samsung devices. I have found the connection works better if the phone is plugged in for charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With my Samsung phone, all you do is turn on Screen Mirroring & the phone screen (including sound) appears on the TV. Not sure how to play TV on the phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a "screen mirroring" 'device,' which I think is at this time only a cell phone or tablet. And I think screen mirroring can only be found on Samsung products.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not sure, haven't done this
