“Does this model upscale from standard HDTV signal to "4K" image?”

• I had a 1080 HD plasma, also Samsung, and the picture from this TV makes that plasma look like a toy. Even old movies seem HD and almost 3D.

• Everything I've read about this TV says that it upscales to NEAR 4K quality. I've had mine for about six months now, and it has a terrific picture . Sound quality is not great, but adequate. Very pleased with his TV.

• The system has built in software to upgrade lower quality source material or signals. It works very well btw.

• Yes, this 65" Samsung Smart TV upscales 720P, 1080I & 1080P to 2160 picture quality. Not all programs upscale but most do. The picture quality is just amazing! We have had our Samsung 65" Smart 4K TV for about 1 month & are VERY happy with ALL aspects of the TV.
