QuestionHow does this TV do in bright rooms? We have a 2 story wall of windows in our living room and there's no escaping the light.

- Answer It has a fairly glossy screen, so reflection will be an issue. However, the brightness of the TV is very strong. Your annoyance of the reflection on the image will be subjective, but the image will be visible and bright.

- Answer if you are using anything other than a 4k video card on a pc or a ultra blu ray player, the screen isnt going to look that great, other than that, i found that when i turn the sharpness all the way down, it makes it look better.

- Answer You need a tv that gets very bright or some serious sunshades. Not a very easy question to answer. do not get lulled into the "HDR" answer. You probably need to come up with an inventive answer to your sunlight problem, then buy a quality TV afterwards. I'm with you, the late October onwards sun poses problems to my south facing windows. I have shades. some with sun blockers. If you can, install 90% shade blockers. If you can't, install sun-blocking shades. If money is no issue, this is a silly q, isn't it?

QuestionThe KU6300 comes with a "video adapter" which this one doesn't. What will I be missing out on if I go with the KU6290?

- Answer LM, the difference as far as I can tell is that the 6300 comes with a remote with additional features. Exactly what those features are now that I have been using my 6290 for a while, I am not sure about. I guess I don't miss them.

QuestionI bought this TV in November 2016. Up until now it has worked flawlessly and I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly. Today, I get back to my home( I work out of town a lot), plug it in, and it says “Smart tv” and is now unresponsive to all attempts to turn on. Help!

QuestionI have a Samsung UN40MU6290F and I was told that with a Aluratek transmitter plugged into the component in jack (yellow ) on the TV I could listen through my wireless headphones. This is what I was told by the salesman at Bestbuy. So far no luck???

QuestionI have a model UN65KS800DF and there are times when streaming Netflix movies the movie stops and just stays at about 25%. The only way to get back to the movie is to unplug it, wait a few minutes, plug it in and then resume the movie.

QuestionI am buying 3 of these. I want to mount above the fireplaces. How far up from the bottom of the TV are the mounting holes and how far down from the top are the mounting holes. I need to make sure they are going to fit.

- Answer You can either connect an optical cable or use the hdmi out for the soundbar. Hdmi worked best for me.

- Answer Yes it has HDR.....but the blacks are "noisey" outside of HDR material. With HDR movies....it's beautiful.
