• Over usage qualifies the lif expectancy. Normally 3 - 5 years.

• Of course, it depends on the total number of hours it's turned on and whether you place a small blower fan gently passing air stream across the back of TV to keep it COOL! Overheating is probably Number One reason they break down. But, in general, I'd give it between 10 and 12 years of good use They far out last the Plasma sets.
