Depending on the weight and size of your curved TV, a heavy duty mount is generally recommended. A 'fixed' mount is recommended for the curved sets also. Too easy to damage the tv swinging around on the full motion units.. The Pro's should be involved when doing any wall mount and the Geek Squad is as good as any.. depending on your negotiating skills, you might be able to get it mounted for free.. Mine came with installation on the 9000 series 65"..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends where you put it. If you mount it above eye level from where you sit then you will want a tilting mount as this TV will lose contrast and color definition if viewed from off perpendicular line of sight. Buy a mount that has rails and that the hanger hanger arms only attach to the TV. Then hanging the TV on the mount is easy. I wouldn't pay to hang it unless you absolutely are mechanically challenged. It isn't that hard to do. So far as a swiveling mount, if it will be on the exterior of the wall or in a recess where it can be turned, the curve of the screen would allow for some side to side movement with just a swiveling mount. If you want extreme movement then the only option is a full motion mount on an arm.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not necessarily full motion but with some form of tilt feature, but that also is dependent upon height where you mount it...mine above my mantle, slight tilt is necessary to negate reflection of surrounding light fixtures....2.-I did mine without the GS but it would be easier bc not easy to mount that high, plus they can fine tune it....I found that each time for each source tends to be very different.....
