• My 7500 once tuned clear at 3 ft heck 1 ft.....laying 7-8ft perfect for me; My 9000 depending on what it is comfortably anything SD and up 10ft..720p-4K uh 6-8 feet until you bump the screen

• You can choose the distance, but most people find it comfortable to sit 3x the screen length (corner to corner), and then adjust closer or further away from that distance. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
