“Am I the only person that dosen't like the picture? I loved the sample video on the store display. We brought the TV home and the screen bothers me. It makes most (non action) movies look like cheap, low budget soap operas. Maybe it is too clear!?!? Is ti just me?”

I suggest you Google the following: "samsung panel lottery" Some panels are out-sourced to China with much poorer displays. Look for displays made in USA or Mexico, which begin with a "T" . Look at the box or in back of the TV. This can be a significant problem. Best to buy local where you can look at the TV or from a very reputable dealer who knows the problem well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You're adjusting to the high quality of the image. I had this feeling when I first saw Blu-Ray content several years back. I have adjusted and enjoy the HD now, but I know what you mean. You just aren't used to the image quality.
