• Any light, it also has a usb-c plug at the bottom to charge by plugging it in.

• Hi - The Solar Cell remote recharge time may vary depending on lighting conditions in the room the remote is placed in. It will charge with either sunlight or indoor light. If you use the USB-C port, a red light will let you know that it is charging. The USB-C cable is not included. ^Gina
