Hi Billbayrn - Great question! The QN90A is our top 4K model with Quantum Matrix Technology using our exclusive Mini LED technology for hyper-focused brightness and dimming in all the right areas. The QN90A also uses Quantum HDR 32x for ultra-rich colors and black levels, deep contrast, and HDR10+ dynamic tone mapping that shifts the color and contrast scene by scene for spectacular clarity and sharpness. ^Gina
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've always gone with Samsung simply because of how bright their TV's get. Specifically their higher end models. I just bought the 65" QN90A and couldn't be happier. It's extremely bright (much brighter than OLED) and it has the option to adjust black detail. You can adjust how dark or light a night scene looks on your television. Personally, I turn it all the way up, which highlights dark scenes pretty well. Although, the type of content you're watching also factors in. If you're looking for a brighter picture overall coming from an OLED, the Samsung QN85A and QN90A are very bright TV's. If you're not wanting to spend that kind of money, the brand new Hisense U8G is also extremely bright and half the cost.
