Thanks Val. It is confusing that there is a separate 2.1 port with a gaming symbol and a non 2.1 port with an eARC label. I did not know that the 2.1 port also supports eARC.

Hi RobertR: The HDMI 2.1 port supports eARC, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Dynamic Metadata (HDR10+), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and High Frame Rate (HFR) 4K@120Hz. Your blu-ray player can be connected to any of the HDMI ports. ^Val
