Hi Woodmeister! Samsung's S95B incorporates the latest advancements in technology to minimize the potential for burn-in, solidifying the new lineup as the most high-quality OLED TV offering in the market. ^Gina
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The tech used in this TV drastically improves image retention issues that will always exist with any display. It’s just chemistry. It will never be resolved in our lifetimes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV has none of these issues. It's just about perfect and there is no image retention problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So the answer is no, it is not fixed. Improved, but not fixed. nice non answer Samsung. OLED's should be pulled from the market until the problem is resolved to 100% satisfaction of customers. It is an awful lot of money spent on a high quality picture TV with no longevity. As soon as the 1 year warranty is up, the problems start. Sad but true. Maybe if these manufacturer's are confident they have solved the issue they should up the warranty to at least a 3 year warranty. Then I only have to spend $1000 a year for a good picture. That will cut the current cost in half. Hahaha. I guess I have to go back to LCD if I want longevity, just can't justify this kind of outlay for a beautiful short lived picture quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Samsung and reviewers claims the new technology theoretically resolves screen burning. But it is too early to predict since the technology is relatively new
