A:Answer No, you cannot put anything behind the tv unless you put in a recessed shelf, or you would have to run the wire in wall.
This unit has only 1 connection on the back. It connects power and all hdmi connections via a box at the end of a 10 ft (I think) thin, clear cord. They do this so only 1 wire has to be run and hidden, instead of the usual 4 or 5. The box can be put along with the cable box or whatever else (blue ray player, game box, etc.) you want to connect. Just run the 1 thin wire to tv. Connect everything else right at the box away from the tv.
