    • Answer I believe Best Buy has you purchase a new hookup kit if they are to install it. If for some reason they feel you can use the one you currently have, then you have the option of returning the newly purchase kit. So save your receipt.

  • QuestionWhat is the distance between wall and the back of dryer needed?

    • Answer The amount of space needed behind the DV361GWBEWR dryer depends on how you're venting it. If you're venting it out the rear, which is how it ships from the factory, you'll need at least 5" of rear clearance. If you're venting it out the left side or bottom, you'll need to convert it using the DV-1A side vent kit, and leave at least 2-3" in the back. If the dryer is installed in an alcove or closet, you should leave at least 2” in front, 17” on top, 1” on either side, and 5” in the back for sufficient air flow.
