It depends on your house wiring and whether or not you have a 3 or 4 prong outlet. Four prong is the new code, they have ben using it for the past 5-10 years.

I would suggest contacting your Best Buy Appliance Associates or Installation Team, or a licensed electrician for advice in this matter.
