No. Dryer uses "fuzzy logic" to determine things. The Thermostat controls how hot the air is that the dryer uses , and the moisture sensor knows how damp clothes are. You don't want super hot air on delicates, and you don't want cool air on heavy items like Jeans as it would take forever to dry.
