QuestionThe dryer is not drying, it takes hours to dry. .even at High temp the clothes come out just a bit warm. Did anyone experience this issue? Checking before returning... Thanks

- Answer Unfortunately, yes. This gas dryer takes a lot of time and the clothes are not totally dried. I was told by salespeople that it was an excellent buy. I would not recommend this product or brand to anyone.

QuestionWhen it says reversible Glassdoor does that mean it can open in either direction or has a reversible hinge? I need a dryer that can have a hinge on the left so it opens from the right

- Answer I just purchased a dryer with a reversible glass door and yes that means it can open in whatever direction you want it to (mine opens from right to left)...you can either have the salesperson put it right on your invoice or ask the people who come to install it to change the direction ... it took about 2 minutes!

QuestionHow do you touch up wrinkles without going through a full dryer cycle? Also does a steam dryer need a hookup to a water source?

- Answer This dryer would use the steam function through the Wrinkle Away setting to release wrinkles on a few dry articles of clothing. It does have Wrinkle Prevent and Perm Press options for regular drying cycles for wet articles of clothing. It would need to be connected to a water source to produce steam. Many people use a Y connector to a cold tap to achieve this.

- Answer No, the sensor on this machine doesn't work... It can't tell if it's still damp or dry, so many times I've gone to the dryer cause it's stopped meaning the load is dry and it's not dry. Very frustrating who has time for that, I don't. Don't waste your money, buy a different dryer you'll regret buying this one.

- Answer They are included but you may want a better quality hose. "Y" is ok.

QuestionIn the "features" section for the description of this dryer, it states that it can be vented on three (3) sides. In the "specification" section it states only rear venting. Which statement is correct?

- Answer I saw this as well during my research and when I looked at the dryer in store there was only one vent in the back. I never figured out what was meant by that statement. Attached is from the manual for the exhaust duct. (also a complete rear view of the dryer) Unfortunately I was not home for the install but the diagrams are the same as I saw in store with no other place to attach a vent duct to. Overall we really like this dryer and are still learning the features.

- Answer I believe that is correct. You just won’t have the steam cycle. Don’t see much use for that feature anyway.

QuestionCan I change the temperature on the preset cycles? I know that flexdry limits me to only change the temperature for the timed loads but then I'm unable to use sensor dry. Are there preset cycles that use low temperature?

- Answer I ordered this one for the same reason, and it did not. My 7400 had a blueish silver faceplate and this dryer's faceplate is silver and white.
