Good question CLS! The right-hand side of the control panel are actual buttons, but they do not require very much pressure. ^Jecca

This washer and dryer set is an extremely good product and seems to be very well built and should last for many years! The dryer has performed above our expectations!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.*Shocked Face* Husband using laundry machines! That is certainly not a sentence I hear used often! Yes, those are touch buttons that can and will get torn up if pressed too hard all the time. Even if not pressed too hard, they will eventually get torn up. I myself like the good old fashion turn knobs, but they as well break with time.
