“My dryer is brand new and there is no heat coming from the drum . I tried 5 different settings and clothes were very damp still after each cycle continuesly ....so makes me believe there is no heat. What could be the problem?!?”

If you haven't tried yet one top you will see an ECO button with the light on. Try to hit that button and turn it off and try to dry your clothes that way. It did the same thing to me.
