Curious how the install for the side vent kit would work for this particular model. I've got the gas version and I think it can only vent to the left, which is the direction I'd need it anyways.”

I'm going to do this, since both the washer and dryer need to be put on a pedestal and I want to get them closer to the back wall. My plan, actually, is to vent through the bottom into the pedestal and then out to the side. Everything that I've seen on the web indicates that this can be done with the standard side vent kit. I have seen this machine vented through the side on the left and, purportedly there is a kind of "knock out" in the left panel that allows side venting. I don't know how much of a hassle, however, that might turn out to be.
