Q: QuestionWhy doesn't the dryer installation or user manual make any mention of how to install the steam hose or how to use it?! Seems like a huge oversight that needs to be fixed. Should be I be connecting the warm or cold howse to the dryer?

Q: QuestionIf I don't want to use the steam function can I choose not to connect a water hose to the dryer? Will the dryer still work without the steam function and a water hose?

It is recommended to have the water inlet hose connected to a water source and the dryer to take full advantage of what you have or may have paid for this Samsung dryer. If a water hose is not connected to this dryer, all features except those which require water will function. We suggest getting a dryer that does not have a Steam Sanitize feature so you need not connect the dryer to a water source.
