The width of the TV is 66" - the width of my stand was only 62 - it was close and had Samsung not installed the feet that far apart it would not have been a problem - consequently I had to have the TV wall mounted and just put my stand underneath. For some reason Samsung changed their normal method of stand utilization which was from the center and put the feet very far apart which is frustrating when trying to utilize even large TV stands. Samsung needs to rethink that move. To answer your question, unless you can figure out a way to reverse those two feet inwards instead of outwards (which I understand some people have done) - this 75" TV will not successfully sit on a 62" stand without difficulty.
