45" between legs and 2 5/8" tall opening. I'm going to hand mine soon and there are special brackets to connect sound bar to TV or you can just mount bar to the wall.

The tv wobbled making me me very nervous that it might fall over. I had it mounted on my wall now all is right with the world. Get the basic mounting for $139.00. The geek squad will come out and do a great job for you.
