• Yes. Samsung will send software to clone your old drive to the new SSD. Make sure the data on the old drive doesn't exceed the capacity of the new SSD. The old drive can be larger than the SSD you are replacing with; you just can have the used space on the old drive exceed the size of the SSD. Stick to the 80% capacity rule. You shouldn't use above 80% of the capacity of the SSD. If you are at 80%, get a larger drive.
