• Yes, it’s the newer version I don’t see it going backwards

• In general partitioning of a drive should not matter to the drive at all. But there does exist the possibility of a firmware bug that could cause problems. But I can definitively tell you that the 850 and 950 series works great with EUFI. I have several computers using these drives and using EUFI quit reliably.
