The migration software and Samsung Magician software is included so no worries there. You will need to get a USB to SATA Adapter cable for the cloning process. Those run about 10 dollars.

You do need a USB connector to clone your SSD in the beginning. Since mine was a PC, had to get an extra bracket to fit the SSD inside the computer. Can't say about laptop.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nothing is included with this SSD. To mirror or clone your current drive you will need to purchase a SATA-to-USB adapter/cable. Also, you will need a cloning software. Alternatively, you can use Windows' built-in 'Back-up and Restore' feature to back up your installation on an external drive and then use the external drive to restore it back on the new SSD. Google search 'Windows Backup & Restore' for details.

You can do this inexpensively with an enclosure for the ssd which will come with the usb cabling. Then use cloning software for migration. I used the free version of Macrium Reflect to do the cloning.
