Yes, but if you have the Hybrid drive that is an option with that line of Laptops, you might want to reconsider. Hybrids will give you more hard drive capacity but also give you that boot on startup. This SSD will give you all around speed, but then you only have 250GB vs 1TB hybrid.

Its a 2.5" HDD. Unless you have an unusual setup theres no reason why you cant use this HDD. If you got the extra caps go get the 960 pro. Overall great product. wont regret buying this drive. but again get the 960 if you can. Peace

If I'm not mistaken, that model comes with a 1TB HDD. The Samsung Evo 860 comes in the same form factor as a laptop hard drive. So yes, you will be able to use this on your ROG laptop. The only thing you'll need to do is ensure that your BIOS is set to AHCI mode so that it will recognize it. You'll want to do this after cloning your hard drive to the Evo 860 and before you remove the HDD from the laptop to install the SSD.

You need to check with the manufacturer. This is a standard 2.5" SSD
