• It may if there is space in the drive compartment! Hard to know for sure since Apple is a very "closed" system, meaning it does not play well with Android or Windows!

• No it won’t if you open your bottom cover you will see your hard drive there. Your hard drive more closely resembles a ram stick. Search on Best Buy for an M.2 ssd that is the type you need.
