“I have researched and checked til I am blue in the face...with no luck. HP site gives no help. Will this work in a HP Gaming Desktop 690-0013w (Win 10) as the bootable drive? If not, what NVMe card would? the motherboard does have a M-2 slot. Thanks!”

Well I'm pretty sure this card will work with any M.2 drive although if you have another boot drive then you might have to configure your boot settings in your bios in order for your computer to boot into it.
