• According to https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05385406, and based on the board architecture, this NVME SSD device would be compatible for your HP Spectre model. However, given your board supports only one (1) NVME M.2 port, this device would have to stand in, as an upgrade, and not an addition. If you had an additional, supported NVME M.2 port, you could in stall a second drive, however as an upgrade, this model NVME would double your 500G stock SSD capacity.
