Looks like based on HP's site that there is a listing for nvme 1tb drive option from the factory so I would assume that it should work. though, if the slot is not populated already you will need 1 single M2x3 screw with a wider diameter to hold in the m.2 nvme drive. You also need to change to clone your existing hard drive to the nvme drive and change your boot options in the BIOs if you which to boot from it if your current boot drive is not an NVME but a SATA one currently. here is hp spec info: https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c06395190
