The Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 SSD is not a PCIe 4.0 drive, but the new 980 series should be compatible. Hope this helps. Best, KevinH

Taking two minutes to search this tells me that Sony have announced that they'll be posting a list of compatible SSDs closer to release. Speculation suggests that there's a minimum read/write speed necessary. Best option is to wait and see whether it's on the list.
