A:Answer Yes! This is an NVMe m.2 SSD and is the correct form factor for the PS5. I have the same drive in my PS5, but the 2TB model. The PS5 will accept a 4TB drive, though, so this drive would work as well. In fact, at this sale price, I'm considering upgrading mine. Installation is easy and you can find a number of videos that walk you through the process of adding a drive. Note that you'll be adding an additional drive, and not replacing the original drive, so you'll have two separate storage locations. This drive is super fast allowing you to not only store more games, but also play them directly from it. You might consider buying a heat sink for it, though many have said it isn't necessary. Samsung sells the drive and heat sink as a bundle, but there are less expensive heat sinks if you choose to use one. Just search specifically or read reviews to make sure the heat sink will fit in the PS5 case.
