Please try again later.you don't.after the Blu ray player has established network connectivity you go to settings and select update firmware and it will update the firmware through the internet. if the Blu ray player does not have network connectivity download the firmware to your iMac copy the downloaded file to a USB stick plug the USB stick into the bank of the blue ray player and select alternate location 2 let the firmware backup from the USB stick. If this does not work please contact the manufacturer for assistance with using iMac and your Blu ray player.

The Blu-Ray player itself can be updated if connected to a wired or wireless connection, and the update process is started on the player itself.
