A:AnswerNo, only 4K TV can do 2160p. My older Pioneer VSX 821 which is 3D/ARC 1080p capable did not like the 2160p mode so I set the Samsung player to 1080p mode and it worked fine with HDMI. I have high speed HDMI cables but not 4K highest speed cables yet.
