• A:Answer Mine does same…I can only guess it is circulation of air. In convection bake it is intended to run, however not sure in bake only function why. Sorry, manufacturer needs to explain this action.

• A:Answer No, no ranges come with power cords they are purchased separate. It is per the warranty of thee stove if you use an old cord not a new one your warranty will be void on your stove. By the way I love this stove

Q: QuestionThe oven light will sometimes stay on for hours after I turn the oven off and close the door. Sometimes it goes off right away. The "light" button on the control panel does not work. I tried the door latch--nothing.. Best Buy won't help. 1 week old.

Q: QuestionRegarding the backsplash: Can it be attached after installation if I don't like the way it looks? My tile will cover everything behind the range; however if there is a gap between the range and the wall for the plug, will look bad. Thanks

Q: QuestionAs this range has a flat top surface, how large is the gap between the wall and the back of the range? Due to the cord plug, I assume it has to stand at least an inch, leaving a gap. Thanks!

Q: QuestionI know the burners turn off if you remove the pan, but do they turn back on if you put the pan back without using the touch controls again? The scenario is lifting the pan to shake or stir and if when returning it, you have to reset the controls.

• A:Answer Hi Mark H, Yes, this Samsung range model has a pan detector equipped. Given in your example, when lifting the pan to shake or stir the food and then returning the pan to the cooktop, you have 30 seconds to do so until an error comes on "Cookware incompatible or not placed." If the pan is not returned within 30 seconds or the pan is not detected by the cooktop the cooking zone will turn off and you will have to reset the controls.
