I would not recommend this. If you are already in the smartthings ecosystem, you could use custom code in Webcore to press once to go up or two to go down, but without a display it would be blind. What you could do is mount a cheap amazon fire tablet to the wall and install the Nest App, but that would give them access to other settings so beware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In short, officially no. Per the Samsung smart-things support site, "the Nest Learning Thermostat and other products by Nest Labs have not been certified by SmartThings and are not part of the Works with SmartThings program. We are unable to provide support for Nest products at this time." There are ways to add Nest control to the Classic SmartThings app however I would say they are much more advanced and not for the more typical user. If you decided to give it a try you only have three button activation modes (Press, Doubt-press and Held) so you MAY be able to set up three temperature set points but it would not be trivial OR supported by Samsung or Nest.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think this would work. The button can only generate single and double pushes for control in the Samsung App. Not sure how that could control the functions in a Nest thermostat
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will not connect to you thermostat directly. If you have a hub, like SmartThings, you can add the thermostat and the button as two separate "Things". Then, using a SmartApp (i.e. Webcore) you can program what the thermostat does with each button press. You can execute 3 different presses, push, held and push/held.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This button is simply a toggle. While it can record press & hold actions, you'd be hard pressed to use this button with any Home Automation system to control your nest from across the house. Better bet might be to use an inexpensive tablet to run the Nest App for the specific zone you need to cool/heat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it won't. Nest uses Wi-Fi while this button uses Zigbee for communication. You'd need a SmartThings hub in the house in addition to the button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it won't connect to Nest
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not sure if it connects directly to the Nest but I use it with Smartthings and you can set it to change the temp to a desired temp when pressed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure ,I ise it to turn on and off a collection of hue lights.
