Would this be a good laptop to use for college? null

The only thing I would ask yourself is... do you need a CD drive, this computer only has a USB port. And the only "writing" software on it was Google docs, which requires you to have internet access to start new pages, but will save changes off line. If you can work with that, it's light weight, turns on super fast, really awesome laptop.
