Q: QuestionI just got my charger I have Samsung Galaxy s8. It says charging but it isnt charging it?

• A:Answer You may have got a defective wireless charger or there may be an issue with the wireless charging flex wire internally in your phone. I would recommend trying another wireless charger and if it still doesn't work, take it in to a local repair shop. I HIGHLY recommend finding a place with good reviews if you have to take in your device to be serviced. Most repair shops have a bad reputation for poor quality work.

• A:Answer A phone will charge in some cases it just depends on the phone case. I have charged in an otterbox commuter case and an off brand clear case. My husband has a thicker off brand knock off case and it won't charge. It also will not charge with a pop socket or with a metal plate in the middle for the magnetic mounts.

Q: QuestionI’ve heard that this product stops charging after the phone is fully charged to prevent over charging. Is this true? And how do you know because it still has the red charge light on & my phone still has the charge symbol when charged all night & at 100%.

• A:Answer When the phone is charged, the light changes from blue to green. This is the indications that's its fully charged and will not overcharge. However, it will trickle charge to keep phone at 100%

The reason being that wireless chargers emit an alternating magnetic field via a "transmitter coil", which in turn induces an alternating voltage/current in the "receiver coil" inside the device.
