“Can anyone tell me what the BTU ratings for each burner are if using LP instead of natural gas? I have contacted Samsung online and by phone and they are unable to find this information. I have downloaded the spec sheet and the user manual and only natural gas numbers are quoted. This is a very expensive range and I need to know this information before I'm willing to purchase it. I also need to know if there is an optional backsplash available to protect the wall behind the unit. Other models I'm considering do have one, either included or as an optional purchase.”

Hi Lisa, The LP BTU ratings for the cook top burners on the new NY58J9850 Dual Fuel Flex Duo Slide-In Range are as follows: Right front - 16.5 LP; Right rear - 4K LP; Left front - 11.5K LP; Left rear - 7.5K LP; Center oval - 7.5K LP. The LP conversion kit comes packaged with the Range, and should be installed by a qualified gas installer. Samsung Slide-in Ranges do come with a filler kit to fill the gap between the back of the Range and the wall, but there's currently no back splash accessory available. I would suggest working with a kitchen designer for assistance determining possible solutions. Thank you! Ms. Samsung
