The Samsung oven is great and meets our needs. The design looks like a small restaurant stove but measuring only 30 inches to fit in our home. We had a gas, double oven before but the Samsung duo fuel oven outshines our old oven. We have always like cooking on a gas cooktop and I love baking in an electric oven; now we have both types of fuel. The two oven sizes are fantastic. It’s great to have a smaller oven to bake smaller items – no need to heat up a huge oven. In addition, with this new style, we can take out the divider to use the whole oven at one time for big baking projects, which is something new for double ovens. The single door with the lever that triggers the hinges to open the top oven versus the whole door is really a clever design. The high output burner will boil water so quickly compared to traditional burners. Preheating the oven is so fast; the oven will be preheated before the cake batter is in the baking pans.
The one thing that was so disappointing was the leveling feet. It isn’t a deal breaker but it made leveling the range very difficult. The feet are bulky, plastic feet but that isn’t the main thing wrong with them. We were not able to lower the feet enough to level the cooktop with the countertop. The leveling feet are too high when they are twisted to the lowest position. We have tiled the kitchen floor and put the tile under the range, which has raised the floor under the range. However, we expected the leveling feet to accommodate the tile. When we kept trying to lower the feet the plastic eventually stripped that caused it to be very difficult to take the leveling feet off. We then had to go to the hardware store and purchase universal leveling feet. The other problem is the opening for the leveling feet is not the universal diameter size so we had to jury-rig the new universal leveling feet into the feet slots.
The other thing we didn’t like is having unnecessary accessories such as the griddle and the wok grate. We already have a griddle that we still will use with the Samsung cooktop. Our griddle can make 8 pancakes at a time; the Samsung griddle is narrow and might make 4 pancakes. And the griddle is extremely heavy. Not everyone cooks with a wok. Our wok has a flat bottom. I think those accessories should have been optional purchases, which should make the cost of the Samsung range lower since the cost of those accessories is built into the price.
Even with these two setbacks, I am so happy with the Samsung range. I would recommend the Samsung range to family and friends.

Love it, love it, love it. This is an awesome stove. I love the fact I can have both gas and electric. It is the best of both worlds. The rapid boil burner boils water in less than a minute. The oven heats very evenly and I have not found any hot spots in the oven at all. The convection fan is very quite and the oven contains the heat within. The room stays cool. I love the versatility to cook several foods at different temperatures and sizes. The dual doors makes it easy to remove larger pans. I think the stove is very sleek and modern looking. I looks like a much higher end appliance. The griddle heats evenly and is great for pancakes and grilled cheese. This is a great stove.

We have had this range for roughly six months, and it has been outstanding. The rapid burner is fantastic for quick heating, and I love using the wok with this burner. I really can't say enough good things about this range. The ease of choosing the smaller oven, the convenience of having the warming drawer. It is truly a 5 star appliance.

Good looking oven easy to use. With my old oven it was very slow to reach the desired cooking temperature. It's great having an oven with two separate cooking sections.

Excellent stove. I was looking for a gas stove and after so much searching and reviews reading, picked this one. The combination of gas/electric, dual oven elements, good looks and the price were great motivators. I love it! How did I cook before using an electric stove? Burning food and pots:)

Had a gas range a long time ago and have missed it for the last 12 years we have had electric. Ran a gas line and had this delivered after our Electrolux induction range crapped out and Geek Squad couldn't fix it. I like having the electric oven for more even heating and still utilizing our existing 220 outlet.
This range has a lot of features, many of which we haven't used yet. The top oven preheats faster than the lower. Both seem to cook evenly. Haven't used it without the divider yet as a big oven.
The dual burner is great and I think I will like the middle griddle when I get around to using it.
Would be nice if it had the easy glide oven racks that were in the Electrolux. Also, there is no rack for the warming drawer. I guess you just set the food directly on the bottom?
Only have had one glitch when the timers would stop counting down after a couple seconds. Only happened once one evening and I could not duplicate the problem since. Hope it doesn't happen again.

After looking into the high end lines at Best Buy (Viking, Thermador, etc.), I settled on the Samsung because it seemed to have more bang for the buck. After using it for about two months now, I couldn't be happier.
The electric, convection oven offers so much flexibility and is a bakers dream. The top oven heats up in minutes and has replaced the clunky toaster oven that sat on the counter. I have not found any hot or cold spots in the upper oven at all. At this point I have only used the lower oven once but it produced the same results. The warming drawer was an unexpected bonus feature that is something I would have a hard time living without now! Mistime the veggies or pasta- pop it in the warming drawer with a bowl of hot water and problem solved.
The stove. Where do I even start with the stove. My previous range had a 14K BTU "quick boil" burner that boiled a mid size pot of water in about 15-20 minutes. I'm so happy to say those days are behind me! I burned pretty much everything the first week until I re-learned how to cook. All the burners heat very evenly especially the double ring burner. Bacon is perfect from the middle to the tips every time! The center burner is a little on the weak side compared to the rest of the burners and the Samsung griddle is pretty small so don't expect to cook a family meal on it. I have a larger griddle I plan to try but have not yet had the opportunity. The center burner was kind of 'bonus feature' so this is not something that makes a difference for me.
The only thing that I'm not over the moon about is the touch screen control panel. It can be somewhat confusing and is a bit conveluted compared to other ranges I looked at that have more manual controls. (I don't know how many times I've accidentally turned off the oven trying to set the timer...) I also worry about the longevity of a touch screen that sits on the front of the stove where it constantly gets splattered and touched. Time will tell...
Overall though, I am very happy with this range and would highly recommend for all home chefs/bakers that want a more budget-friendly option!

My wife insisted we install a gas line to get this oven after our last electric range broke. This was well worth the expense as she has been able to quickly cook meals over the gas range while maintaining the precision of an electric oven for baking. The unit itself is attractively designed and even came with a wok holder.

We've only used it the oven and range a few times but it's performing to expectations. The hybrid double oven takes some adjustment from previous ovens we've. So far, we're quite happy.

This review covers two items, the Samsung range and Best Buy.
We have had the dual-fuel Samsung range for less than a month, so I cannot attest to its reliability or even to all its many features. But so far, we are very much pleased with it -- its utility and flexibility, its build quality, its handsomeness in our kitchen. I have baked several beautiful sourdough breads in the main oven and some small things in the upper oven. The big cooktop burners are powerful, and the small ones allow for gentle simmering. All in all, a very hopeful start.
And Best Buy has been great. When our old range failed in October we bought a dual-fuel GE range from Best Buy in November. When, within twenty-four hours, that range started experiencing problems, the Best Buy rep I reached on the phone (after spending several very frustrating hours on the phone with GE service) said essentially, “You’re having problems on the second day you’ve owned it? Of course you should send it back, I would.” And they came and took it, no questions, full and prompt refund. The sales associate we dealt with at the store was knowledgeable, patient with my many calls, supportive, and never a bit pushy. When we need to replace other appliances I will definitely go back to Best Buy.

I love that all my conditions were met with this one unit. I moved into a home with a smaller kitchen and found it hard to accept downsizing my kitchen appliances. I wanted the following:
1.) oven to be electric = check
2.) cooktop to be gas = check
3.) fit in the only space I have = check
4.) counter to cooktop no gaps = check
5.) modern looking = check
6.) 5 burner = check
7.) dual oven = check
8.) wok adapter =check
9.) grill =check
10.) it works amazingly = check
What else can I ask for?

Only been a few days but so far couldn't be more pleased. Stove top is extremely powerful. Excels on both the high end and low end of temp control. Split oven feature is awesome. Using top half only, oven preheats in no time flat. The auto-temp conversion for convection makes it a no brainer.

I love my new oven! It is a dual fuel gas stovetop and electric oven. It is the easiest and best slide in range available! I bought the wrong samsung range that stated dual fuel but it wasn't a electric oven but had two gas connection one for stovetop and one for oven. Be careful of the wording samsung uses. Best Buy was great to come and pick up the first range after letting try to see if I could get use to it. I just wasn't comfortable cooking with a GAS oven! I returned for the Chef collection(little more in price not sure why) which was just what I wanted! BEST BUY IS GREAT to work with! thanks

Love this range!!! Dual fuel was something I was looking for and being able to get "double oven" functionality will come in handy for hosting family celebrations. It's great looking in our kitchen; a real upgrade in looks.
The drawbacks (and reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars) include:
-it's stainless steel "look" and is easily scratched by the stove top grates (I didn't realize when I bought it that it wasn't fully stainless steel)
-the large "grill" pan for the middle burner doesn't get hot enough to really sear steaks like we usually do with out cast iron pan. either the middle burner isn't powerful enough or the pan that comes with the set has terrible heat transfer properties
-we ran into interference with the location of our NG line and our 240V outlet so the range does not sit back flush against the wall like our old range did. we had seen other ranges that users had run into this issue, but none for this range, so we thought we were safe....

My range was just installed this week but my first impressions are very favorable. First, this is a gorgeous stove and matches my Samsung refrigerator perfectly. Second, I love that the oven is electric and the burners are gas because gas burners provide maximum control of the cooking process. Third, I especially love the upper small oven. I cooked a pizza and it came out perfectly. Very impressive. I look forward to many such culinary experiences in the future as I explore my new range.

I have not yet had a chance to test the stove functionality, as we're waiting for the gas company to connect a new tank. But, so far the oven works well and we love the look of the new range. Only issue we have is that our granite countertop is 35.5" high and the stove is taller, even with the feet all the way in. This leaves a 1/2" gap between the countertop and the lip on either side of the stove. I wish I had known this beforehand, but I have googled possible ways to deal with the issue. In the end it's a small price to pay for having a nice dual fuel oven/stove. Hope we like it a year from now. :)
