“Could the top portion of the oven replace a toaster oven?”

• I assume the main concern is will it function as a toaster and the answer is no. When the oven is divided the upper section will either broil or heat by convection. There is no lower element in that section to permit heating both sides of bread.

• Yes and no. The smaller top oven is ONLY CONVECTION which is not appropriate for some baking. I found this disappointing. Broil does work on the top oven.
