The oven does this automatically and I wish I could turn it off, but since I can't I just set it 25 degrees higher than I want. I've had convection ovens since they first came out in the early '80s. My recipes have been adjusted to compensate for convection by time not by temperature. I find this a more accurate method and I get the advantage of shorter cook times.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My oven does not adjust automatically which I think it is suppose to. My baked goods come out most of the time done correctly at the temp I set it at but there are times I feel the oven is not working as it should. I do love this stove but am going to call for a service checkup. I feel the oven is not working as it should and when I use both ovens or just the top it doesn't seem to keep the proper temp., for $3000.00 it should have no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would suggest using an oven thermometer several times to see where your temperature is and adjust or leave accordingly.
