Yes, a factory unlocked phone means it can be used for all US GSM networks (ATT, T-MOBILE). Verizon, although claims to use a sim card, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are a GSM network. Verizon still works of off CDMA technology, same goes for Sprint. A factory unlocked phone also means that it can be used in other countries as long as it meets the GSM bandwidth requirements. For example, 850/900/1800/1900; US uses 1800 GSM networks.
