There are multiple apps from the Google Play Store that work on this tablet. For example, Kindle, Nook, Zinio (for magazines), it reads .pdf files. I am sure there are more than this. Check out the Google Play Store (Android Apps).

Please try again later.You can download pretty much any app for e-reading and that app will turn your tablet into something similar to a kindle or nook while you are using the app. I believe the screen also has an ideal setting for reading which reduces brightness and glare.
