“Writing Quality I am currently trying to choose a tablet. I just returned my kindle fire since it wasn't really good at what I was using it for. So now I'm stuck between this and the ipad mini. I don't really know what I am searching for. I'm a writer and a reader. I don't really use a lot of media or games. So, I was curious what might be more compatible for me? I need something fluid and easy to write with. The prices is only a $50 difference therefore I am not really upset about it. Plus, the camera quality needs to be good for skyping. I would like to know what someone would suggest.”

The note 8 is really best for writing. I am actually Writing this message right now way the S-pen stylus that the device comes with (the device is actually translating my hand writing into the text you see here while I am writing). The handwriting recognition is stellar, and seems like it would be the perfect tool for a writer.

There are no products on the market that I have seen or played with that will operate with as much ease as the apple products...Before everyone who hates apple jumps on my case - yes there are some limitations, but the way you interface with the ipad makes it the best product available. I have been making the transition to an all apple home...I have a macbook pro, ipad 2, ipad mini, iphone 4gs, samsung phone, att phone, dell laptop, and Nabi 2, for my youngest....the Dell is nothing but headaches and the next time it crashes, it will be replaced with the Mac Mini...I will never buy another laptop, or computer that does not work as smoothly as an apple. Both the samsung phone is difficult to navigate, and the Att phone is always having issues. I do suggest any and all apple products so my vote is absolutely the iphone mini!!!
