Q: QuestionIs Best Buy offering the former Note 7 trade in discount?
Asked by princessxkelsey.
This question was asked about the related product: Samsung - Galaxy Note8 64GB (Unlocked) - Midnight Black
- A:Answer No, I don't believe so. You only get the $425 discount from Samsung direct, with proof of purchase of a Note 7. I went to the order page on the BB website, to a screen shot of my 2016 purchase of the Note 7, sent it to them, and they sent me a link to get the $425 discount. Although it has a list of cell phones, and yours is not one of those, just choose one to order, then with the order number call Samsung, then choose the option to have them call you back, when they do, give them your order number and the phone you will be trading in. They will put a note on your order number and you will get the full $425 discount according to the three different Samsung reps I talked to at 800-726-7864. You have to order before 9-24-2017, and you will get your free gifts with the phone purchase. Also if you qualify, they have no interest financing. So it's less than $22 a month, but exactly what it would be if you paid up front. it just has to be paid in full in 24 months, and you really should set it up on auto pay if you choose this option, because if you are late or miss a payment then you will incur some outrageous interest rates The only problem with this is you won't get the BB service after the sale. And I don't believe they will even sell you their insurance on the device since they didn't sell it to you.

This question was asked about the related product: Samsung - Galaxy Note8 64GB (Unlocked) - Midnight Black
- A:Answer Hello! We appreciate your interest in our products. An unlocked smartphone is a phone that isn't tied to a specific carrier or contract. Therefore, you have the freedom to shop for the latest phones and plans as often — or as infrequently — as you like. Plus, they don't come preloaded with numerous carrier applications that take up space on your phone. And when it comes to international travel, unlocked phones can't be beaten. We hope this answers your question and helps you with your purchase decision. ^Rod

Q: Question"Up to $150 off" when is this applied and does it for apply to the unlocked version?
Asked by Diezel.
This question was asked about the related product: Samsung - Galaxy Note8 64GB (Unlocked) - Midnight Black
- A:Answer I went to Bestbuy, as I have ATT... the amount is different per carrier and does NOT apply to the UNLOCKED version (from what I understand). ATT's amount was $100. (Target is offering $150, but not offering the unlocked version.) So each carrier is offering a different amount. That's why the "up to" $150. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Q: QuestionWhat does the option "unlocked (with activation today)" means? Is the phone still unlocked? What would I be activating?
Asked by Henry.
This question was asked about the related product: Samsung - Galaxy Note8 64GB (Unlocked) - Midnight Black
- A:Answer It's unlocked, but you add a NEW sim card from three separate carriers--AT&T, Verizon and sprint--which activates a new plan. You will get billed monthly, and the sim card will follows the same cancelation method as the carrier you chose. I'm NOT SURE if there is a contract with Best Buy, so I would be careful. The thing they do is kinda sketchy, so I wouldn't do it unless you want a new plan.
