“I was told the phone would be shipped Sept 15, the release date. However, Best Buy (phone on Verizon) says I won't get it until October 2, what's the deal? I typed in other zip codes and they get it the 15th, however, it's only my area that gets it Oct 2.”

Just received an email for BestBuy notifying me that my Note 8 has been shipped and will arrive tomorrow. So it's almost 2 weeks early. Oct 2 was the date BestBuy told me initially also. Pleasantly surprised.
