A:Answer I would advise checking with Boost Mobile first.
I purchased an unlocked Note 8 last year not realizing I would not have access to certain carrier features because it was an unlocked phone. I did not have visual voice mail, text messages were limited, I could not send or receive pictures via text message, and much more.
Boost Mobile tech support was either unwilling or unable to help resolve the situation, so I ended up returning the phone. I was told by Best Buy CS that not all carrier features work with unlocked phones because some carriers want you to purchase their branded phones.
I hope you have better luck than I did if you purchase the unlocked model to use with Boost Mobile.
